Compare the period immediately before and after Martin Luther and Servetus.
What I have learned: It is better to know than to believe. It is better to be loved, than to know. It is better to be alive, than to be loved. To be alive, is to believe. So....

Preparing for the Sabbath *
Go nowhere.
Spend no time in the world.
You are floating.
It seems as if
as if something is
as if something is happening.
Surrounded by its invitation.
The happening is holding you.
Go nowhere.
Pay no attention to anything
that wants money.
Urges?
You have heard that song before.
Aching with guilt?
Stop dancing on the fence.
Perhaps you need to help another?
Pricked to help your neighbor? Help yourself.
Want to eat the banana? Eat.
Craving more more more?
Drink the water.
Go nowhere.
Go there now.
Spend no time in the world.
You are floating.
It seems as if
as if something is
as if something is happening.
Surrounded by its invitation.
The happening is holding you.
Go nowhere.
Pay no attention to anything
that wants money.
Urges?
You have heard that song before.
Aching with guilt?
Stop dancing on the fence.
Perhaps you need to help another?
Pricked to help your neighbor? Help yourself.
Want to eat the banana? Eat.
Craving more more more?
Drink the water.
Go nowhere.
Go there now.

* Pico Iyer points out that in the Decalogue,
there is only one word to which the adjective "Holy" refers.
Just "Sabbath". Just the period of rest.
The only "Holy" thing in this universe is a day
of doing nothing useful or worldly.

List of Ancient Words (universal)
LIST OF ANCIENT WORDS
Paleo-Philologists have accumulated a list of ultra-conserved
words, projecting an ancestral language, extended well into 15,000 years of usage.
Certain core
concepts have been with us, always: Resonant, blunt, unadorned, concrete,
descriptive. And see if you are surprised by any of them, especially the last one.
I,
not,
That,
We,
To give,
Who,
This,
What,
Man/male,
Ye /you
old,
mother,
To hear,
Hand,
Fire,
to pull,
Black,
To flow,
Bark,
Ashes,
To spit,
Worm - surprised? Clue that we used to eat them.
Grubs
are more delicious than beetles
Which
are abundant and everywhere.
EXERCISE:
Write poem,
using these 23 words.
EXAMPLE:
Who gives not to old
Mother,
That hears the hand
of fire
Pulled black flowing
from the flame
That men spit into?
