Our ability to see the world and eachother as it is and we are is much impeded by a kind of "accelerator" within our thinking. We hear what we expect, and we expect bad news and hope for recognition for our efforts. This expectation distorts every noise coming in, and that is just the beginning. Our brain processes exigent information first. Crisis comes in with the most "interest" taken. We run with it before we know what "it" is.
The world is not so bad; of course it is worse. People are good; of course, they are divine.
What I have learned: It is better to know than to believe. It is better to be loved, than to know. It is better to be alive, than to be loved. To be alive, is to believe. So....
